We celebrated 1 million Longines followers on Instagram and joined in the excitement at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final. But that wasn't all we were able to experience during the exclusive weekend in Barcelona...

Barcelona greeted us with sunshine and a pleasant 24 degrees and we immediately felt welcome in the metropolis. The beautiful weather, the impressive city and, above all, our host Longines made this event something very special right from the start.

Equestrian sports such as show jumping have always been in the hands of Longines and we were therefore in good hands.

Longines was founded in 1832, making it the oldest registered watch brand in the world. Even today, the timepieces have not lost any of their classic elegance and inspire watch lovers worldwide. Above all, we felt the commitment to sport, the passion and the time that Longines takes at international competitions. Es war ein spannendes Springreit Turnier, bei dem Deutschland leider nur den achten Platz belegt hat. Das hat unserer guten Stimmung aber keinen Abbruch getan. Unsere Nachbarn, die Belgier, haben dafür eine hervorragende Leistung erbracht und das Turnier für sich entschieden. Wir gratulieren herzlich!

A great incentive to win: A Longines Conquest watch from the Conquest collection awaits the winners!

After so much excitement, a walk around the festival grounds did us good and while we were drifting along, we discovered the next highlight. A small, lovely jewel: the Longines carousel! What initially brought back many childhood memories was a real eye-catcher and blogger magnet and thus the symbol for the 1 million followers. Matt Harnacke, Julien Isnardon and the enchanting Leonie Hanne were already doing their rounds on it - with a Longines watch on their arm, of course.

An exclusive Longines store was of course a must on the grounds of the show jumping event and our visit there was clearly one of our favorite moments of the weekend. Even from a distance, it looked inviting and classy. We were presented with impressive watchmaking craftsmanship.

The exciting things always happen behind the scenes, even at an event like this. We had fantastic weather and after the final of the tournament, everything was quickly dismantled and a stage found its place on the large grounds.

The first rhythmic sounds rang out, we pricked up our ears and a few minutes later Bob Sinclaire took to the stage. The man who once sang the soccer World Cup hit. A cheerful end to such a multifaceted event full of esprit, passion and sporting spirit.
