Tove and Heinz Gellner founded the GELLNER jewellery manufactory in 1967 when they started their own business with a small collection of cultured pearls. In 1972 they started their own production. At that time, the special Varioper clasps were already available. In 1976, the world fair in the field of jewellery and watches was held for the first time, in which Gellner successfully participated. In 1992, the manufactory celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Four years later, Jörg Gellner took over the company in 1996, which is still run by the second generation. The brand is successful worldwide and is represented not only in Germany but also in Switzerland, the USA and Japan. The Spirit of Pearls by Gellner is carried everywhere. The connection between passion and design turns the creations into something emotional that brings the preference for pearls to the fore. The necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets made in Germany were designed by internationally renowned jewellery designers and awaken the fascination and enthusiasm for pearls in various shapes and colours.
