One afternoon, as I was reviewing my Jewelry shoot at the BichlAlm in a modern dirndl on the wonderful Kitzbühel BichlAlm, I had the idea to revisit the theme. The classic version is still part of the ladies' regular repertoire. Whether it's a festive evening at the Oktoberfest or a visit to the beer garden - traditional costumes are worn for a variety of occasions. The whole thing is not old-fashioned - on the contrary. Traditional doesn't necessarily have to mean old-fashioned if you wear a few cleverly selected, modern pieces of jewelry with it.

Now that the days are gradually getting shorter and autumn is slowly waking up from its summer break, I'm heading out with my two darlings, Hunter and Karuso, to show off my traditional dirndl in combination with modern jewelry in the great outdoors. After all, we need to catch the last warm rays of summer sunshine.

I am wearing a special timepiece on my wrist. Because just like the traditional dirndl, the Chopard Happy Sport watch is a true style icon with a long tradition. With its white rubber strap and feminine, striking shape, this watch provides a modern yet subtle contrast to the classic dirndl. If you want something a little more eye-catching and colorful, the bracelet can be exchanged for another Chopard bracelet to your heart's content. Free-moving diamonds swing between the sapphire crystal on the dial as you dance in the marquee, reflecting the light with every movement of your hand.

To match the watch, I chose Chopard's Happy Dreams collection for my jewelry, as this also adds a modern touch to my traditional costume. They also shine with free-moving diamonds, so that all my pieces of jewelry sparkle wonderfully in unison when I move. Necklace, ring or earring - at the center of each element are interlocking circles of different sizes, which with their clear and soft lines are reminiscent of clouds and form an interesting contrast to the classic patterns of the dirndl and the ruffles of my white blouse.

Both my earrings and my ring feature the radiant diamond behind sapphire crystal, and one of the circles is also set with 44 and 21 diamonds respectively. In combination with a traditional dirndl, these pieces of jewelry stand out in the overall picture - but not in an obtrusive, but rather elegant and playful way.

As I'm already wearing jewelry from the Happy Dreams collection that will turn heads at the folk festival, I made sure that the bracelets I chose would integrate into my look in a more subtle way. So I deliberately avoided diamonds here, but still created an interesting contrast with a combination of white and rose gold. The classic and curved Chopard lettering flatters the traditional elements of my dirndl.

It's time to hit the road and head home with my two favorites. And one thing is certain: nothing stands in the way of this year's folk festival season.
